Collaborations

Through working with stones I have crossed paths and developed ongoing creative collaborations with some truly incredible makers!

This page highlights my most significant ongoing collabs, including Numi Olive, Jacki Holland, Native House Ceramics Co. and Debra Baxter Studio.

If you are vibing with the stones that I curate make sure to check out all of their work!

  • Numi Olive

Mineralogy Project has a super fun ongoing collaboration with Numi Olive, a jewelry studio based in Pioneertown, CA.

Before I was a collaborator, I was a fangirl of Beth’s incredible jewelry! When she first began making crystal talismans we connected and began an incredible creative dialogue which has been ongoing for over 3 years now!

Not only has this collab inspired us both to push our creative edges — pushing me to constantly source cooler and more unique stones for talismans — and Beth to develop out of this world ooak bezel stamping and setting skills — but it has also blossomed into a friendship I am so grateful for <3

Every few months I curate a grouping of stones and mail it off to Beth as a surprise. She crafts those stones into the most gorgeous hand stamped silver (and sometimes gold!) talismans and offers them for sale on her website.

  • Jacki Holland

I first met Jacki when I dove into the world of crystal-gram full time and was searching for unique jewelry made with stones.

Jacki’s hand beaded crystal jewelry is literally magical, the first piece I received of hers in the mail felt like such a potent use of stones as wearable art.

Jacki and I offer at least 2 big custom releases a year after I attend the Denver and Tucson gem shows. For these collabs I curate stones, send them to Jacki and she makes them available for custom orders through her insta for a limited time only. Stay tuned the month or so after each show for this collab!

In addition, throughout the year she regularly orders Mineralogy Project stones and makes custom works for many of my dear crystal clients. If you would like to investigate having Mineralogy Project stones made into beautiful beaded jewelry check out her site and insta!

  • Native House Ceramic Co

Another incredible maker I am so grateful to be connected with! Meg, the incredible potter behind Native House Ceramics, makes the most beautiful pottery, often carved and always magical her pieces literally leapt out at me when I first saw them years ago at a shop in Denver, CO.

Meg makes the most incredible ceramic sphere holders, among other things! Each year for the two main gem shows I source sphere holders from her for all the Gem Show Collection spheres!

More collabs are in the works as well, so stay tuned! And in the meantime, you can find her available ceramic work on her website and follow her insta for previews, kiln unpacking and demos!

  • Debra Baxter

Deb and I first met in Albuquerque way back in maybe 2015. I was photographing her art opening at a gallery run by a mutual acquaintance. Finding we both had a love of crystals - and that she lived in my hometown - Seattle, we connected! Then Deb moved to Santa Fe and we hung out in the Southwest together! Chatting stones, empathic experiences and energy, over tea, and I got to visit her studio a number of times! Although we have swapped home locations since we first met - New Mexico and Seattle - we stay in touch and I occasionally source stones for her sculpture work and jewelry! We have also done a few collab releases where I curate the stones and she creates DB/CB pieces with them. I am a complete fan girl of Deb’s sculptural work and love sourcing stones for her and seeing them pop up as works of art!
