How to participate in a crystal live sale on IG
Crystal live sales allow us to gather as a community, often around an energetic theme and look at and learn about crystals together.
How to Live Sale: Mineralogy Project goes live on Instagram once a month to offer crystals for sale, it is literally a live or real time video stream of the crystal table I have set out and folks join to interact / watch and claim crystals. Crystal live sales happen once a month on a Sunday afternoon beginning at noon pst and last 4-6 hours. Lots of folks pop in and out and some sit with us the whole time! I have a few clients who toss it up on a TV in the background and cook or hang out.
You can find the live sale on my Instagram by touching the bio picture when I am already live streaming - it will say LIVE on the bio photo and should also show with a little live icon at the top of your navigation page with other accounts that are currently live.
If you are completely new to crystal live sales I suggest watching a few minutes of a previous month’s crystal live sale on Instagram, they aren’t on the ‘main grid’ but if you toggle over one grid option to videos they are all saved there chronologically mixed in with other video content. You can also come as a newbie for the first live and sit and observe a bit, it isn’t complicated once you get the flow of it! Mostly folks sit and chat and admire the stones together and each person claims whichever pieces jump out to them during the live.
Claiming & Pricing: During a crystal live sale, I will individually show one stone at a time - holding the crystal in my hand and talking about it, and then I will flip over a piece of paper with the price (the number on the paper is the crystals price). Once I have shared the price, people will comment in the live to claim the piece. The first person I see on my live screen who comments with a claiming word and the price gets the piece and I will confirm by reading out their IG handle/ name. If more than one person claimed I will confirm who is first and I will read the other claims so you know if I can see your comments or not.

The crystal live sales are a super fun community event with lots of other crystal enthusiasts — we are a welcoming and also close knit community.
Because sometimes more than one person claims a stone, it is our communally held value that the right crystal goest to the right person.
We keep it positive, enthusiastic and hold patience for internet glitches and wifi speeds. It is honestly miraculous that people from all over the country can gather and look at crystals on video in real time together and each select stones — sharing a theme and thread — as we all enjoy and work with those stones in the months after the live sale!

Invoicing & Shipping
Invoicing is via PayPal only and happens the week after the live sale.
The invoicing flow takes me a few days so you may not hear from me immediately after the live sale. Sharing the flow here:
During the live sale, if you are new and claim a stone please dm me with your name and PayPal associated email so we have a message thread running already.
After the live sale I individually hand write each invoice, and send each client a dm with a photo the invoice which has your live sale selections written out individually — for approval — I won’t send an invoice or ship until you have viewed and approved your list of stones.
Once approved, I send a PayPal request. Please pay all PayPal requests within 24 hours of when I send them (note this is not within 24 hours of the live, they won’t be there yet!)
Shipping is via USPS priority flat rate only. Shipping is $11 for a small flat rate bubble mailer and $20 for a medium size box.
Please provide your shipping address to me via Instagram dms if you are a new client or if you have moved. I do not use PayPal addresses for shipping reference as I have found them to be out of date so often. I request that clients are responsible for communicating correct and up to date addresses to me before I ship, it is super difficult and takes forever to call back and reroute packages.

I usually take 1-2 weeks to ship and almost always ship out on Friday’s so if the live is Sunday, you should hear from me to invoice by Wednesday or Thursday and your box will ship Friday.
Sometime this flow takes two weeks — you can always request to be in the first or second postal run if you have a shipping / scheduling preference.
Shipping is currently US only — sorry I am a tiny business and have had logistical nightmare challenges with shipping internationally and tariffs.
